Happy Friday - Sep. 16, 2005
I haven't been so happy for a long time. After finishing lunch, the fantastic day was just ready for me...
We went straightly to Dan Shui by MRT trying to let all customers experienced the way we commute everyday. On the way to the Red Castle, we passed by the old street. Everybody seems bought something special, like Jorg from Germany bought a tea set, and Mr. Hwang from Korea bought special dolls...
We were happy having drinks and relaxing in the Red Castle.
hahaha.. I tried to help Ms. Lee from Malaysia to get the right line of MRT and missed the others, so ended up going back to Panchiao first and wait for them...its interesting anyway...
After arrived the hotel, Larry and henderson went home. Mr. Manfred insisted me to stay ...then another fantastic little trip Jenny led was began.
We tried the nearby two stores of shabu shabu, unfortunately they were all too full and Mr. Manfred asked me to ask for credit card that they don't serve... besides, I don't have cash with me either.. So, Manfred and I withdrew money nearby (they didn't ask me to do so.. but I feel I should do that). Funny thing is after returning to the store, we still have to wait another 10-20 mins. So, Jenny suggested to go to the Taipei county hall first instead, which is really the right choice!!
We checked out the nice view on 32 floor and enjoyed the nice night view. Jorg took some nice photos there too. Then, we headed into the tallest 33 floor for the dinner. Its forbidden smoking inside the whole building. So, I told Manfred about it but he was so nice telling me he could stand for it and only wants to have beer. The counter also told me we could have cheaper food and smoke on 8 floor, but Manfred asked me to stay where offered the better food..geez .. he is a nice man.
And its really a nice place to enjoy food with fantastic view. We talked a lot and servants there were so funny too, one lost the menu we ordered and asked me again, another one forgot to serve new knives. I learnt the beer should be served before main meal too.. thats I should know as I've been to German.
Then, we headed into the 8 floor to the open garden. The manager of the restaurant was so nice to let us in since its about the closing time. He talked some German to please them and even sang a German Christmas song for us. Hard to believe is he gave us free coffee and cakes that surprised us a lot. There are so much laughs and happiness the night and I got 3 warm, great hug from Manfred, Dagmar and Jorg............
